The City of High Point approved a “Resolution of Support” for the efforts of Furniture City Motorsports. The City Council voted in favor and Mayor Becky Smothers signed the document on Monday, September 15, 2008.

This gives Furniture City Motorsports the green light to continue the process of bringing a Multiple Motorsports Event, to include an auto Grand Prix, to High Point.

We presently have a committee developing a promotional package for us to use when we meet with potential racing series, sponsors, and promoters.  Meetings will start in October.
